Partnership with HEAD - Piaget Young Talents prizes 2016
For the 4th year, Piaget partners with Geneva University of Art and Design (HEAD) with the PIAGET – HEAD Young Talents Prize. This prize awards the creativity of Design Jewellery, Watches and Accessories Bachelor and Master programs students in the context of two design workshops linked to Piaget DNA. For the 2016 edition, there were a watch workshop and a jewellery workshop design.

The fourth edition solicited the creativity of the students in the framework of two design workshops:
- A workshop devoted to watchmaking design to revisit the Gala watch, supervised by the tandem formed by Franck Touzeau, Piaget's Watch marketing director, and Marco Borraccino, designer and professor in watch design, Head of the Chair in Watchmaking Design at HEAD - Geneva.
- And a workshop in jewellery design, led by Vicki Sarge, famous fashion jewellery designer in London, and Marjia Iva Djordjevic, Piaget senior jewelry designer on the Piaget side. The students were given carte blanche to decline an Extraordinary Piaget rose in the form of an ornament, as well as a scenographic interpretation for the exhibition of the projects in Piaget Boutique.
The variety of results testifies to the vitality of the design in watchmaking and jewellery as well as the creativity and determination of the young talents at HEAD - Geneva who responded to the call of PIAGET.

The Jewellery Design PIAGET YOUNG TALENTS Extraordinary Rose are:
Winner: Lou Chartres with the project « Minorganique »
1er accessit: Yesmine Ben Ayed with the project « Eternal Roses »
2ème accessit: Florian Wicki with the project « Yves Gérald Piaget »
Both winners are being offered 3 month interships in Piaget design studio.
